Application of De Groene Os Veterinair Ultimaflor Hond & Kat:
Ultimaflor is a carefully formulated blend of prebiotic fibers, bacterial strains, and complementary nutrients. This combination has been developed to supplement the daily diet.Ingredients of De Groene Os Veterinair Ultimaflor Hond & Kat:
Chicory root powder, yeast and parts thereof, Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) fruiting body extract, Lactobacillus helveticus HA-122, L-threonine, clinoptilolite of sedimentary origin, Acacia, Enerococcus faecium NCIMB ( 104105 x 15405) 10^9 CFU/kg.Usage of De Groene Os Veterinair Ultimaflor Hond & Kat:
Cats and dogs up to 10 kg: a quarter scoop over the food once daily.Dogs 10 to 25 kg: half a scoop over the food once a day.
Dogs 25 to 40 kg: three-quarters of a measuring scoop over the food once daily.
From 40 kg: 1 and a quarter measuring scoop over the feed once daily.
1 measuring scoop = 3.5 grams
If necessary, the dosage can be doubled; give Ultimaflor twice daily.
For dogs and cats from 3 months to 1 year, you can use half the dosage.
Do not use during pregnancy. During lactation, consult your (holistic) veterinarian.
Build up the above dosage over the course of a week; it does not need to be done strictly.
Preferably take with plenty of water on as empty a stomach as possible.
The advice to administer it with sufficient water is because the product contains, among other things, Acacia. This is a fiber that, if ingested with insufficient water, could theoretically cause constipation. Therefore, be sure to mix the food in which you add Ultimaflor with a generous splash of water and, for the same reason, gradually increase the dosage over the course of a week.
When using medication or other supplements, leave at least 4 hours between doses due to delayed absorption.
