Application of Gaviscon Duo Pepermunt:
Gaviscon Duo chewable tablets are effective for heartburn and acid reflux.Gaviscon Duo contains 2 antacids (calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate) and an alginate.
This medicine works in 2 ways:
1. It neutralizes excess stomach acid, reducing pain and discomfort;
2. It forms a protective layer over the stomach contents that can last up to 4 hours to relieve the burning sensation in your chest area.
This medicine is used to treat symptoms caused by stomach acid entering the esophagus. These symptoms may include heartburn, acid reflux, and indigestion, and can occur, for example, after a meal or during pregnancy.
Composition of Gaviscon Duo Pepermunt:
Each tablet contains the following active ingredient:Sodium alginate 250 mg
Sodium bicarbonate 106.5 mg
Calcium carbonate 187.5 mg
Ingredients of Gaviscon Duo Pepermunt:
Sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, xylitol, carmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, macrogol 20,000, mannitol (E421), copovidone, acesulfame K, aspartame (E951), peppermint flavouring and carmine (E122).This product contains no sugar or gluten.
Usage of Gaviscon Duo Pepermunt:
If symptoms occur, take 2 to 4 tablets after meals and before going to sleep. Maximum 4 times a day.Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Chew well before swallowing this medicine.
Do not exceed the daily dose.
Warning:
Not suitable for children under 12 years.
