Alka Tabs Magnesium contains tablets consisting of magnesium carbonate encased in a gastro-resistant coating.The specially developed coating allows the tablets to pass through the stomach, allowing magnesium carbonate to dissolve dosed only in the intestinal system and be converted into magnesium and bicarbonates in reaction with carbonic acid present.
