Application of Canesten Gyno 1:
Canesten gyno 1 tablet is used for infections of the vagina or associated infections around the vagina caused by certain types of fungi or yeasts. You can recognize a vaginal yeast infection by itching,a burning sensation, red, swollen, painful labia and a white, lumpy, odorless discharge.
The most common cause is Candida albicans. This fungus is normally present on the skin and can cause symptoms under certain circumstances, for example when the immune system is weakened, around menstruation, or during antibiotic use. Other organisms can also increase vaginal discharge.
Composition of Canesten Gyno 1:
Active ingredients: 500 mg clotrimazole per tabletExcipients: calcium lactate, maize starch, crospovidon, colloidal
silicon dioxide, lactic acid, lactose, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose.
Usage of Canesten Gyno 1:
In the evening, before going to sleep, insert the Canesten Gyno 1 vaginal tablet as deeply as possible into the vagina.If the infection has spread outside the vagina around the labia (this can be recognized by itching, a burning sensation, and red, swollen, painful labia), clotrimazole cream 10 mg/g can be used for treatment and to prevent reinfection. Apply a thin layer of this cream to the affected areas twice daily for approximately one week.
Warning:
Do not use in case of: hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or one of the excipients.
