De Cruydhof
De Cruydhof is a small family business founded in 1934 by naturopath W. C. Smits. In his hometown of Balkbrug, Willem Smits and his wife Anneke cultivated a nature-friendly garden. Mr. Smits was an active herbal grower and treated people with herbal teas that he personally formulated. But herbs were not the only thing he was passionate about — he also strongly emphasized the importance of healthy nutrition. De Cruydhof was later taken over by a family friend, who expanded the range with new formulas and tinctures. Eventually, it was passed on to TS Health Products, which is now the official distributor of the brand and the go-to source for natural self-care. The Cruydhof range now includes a wide variety of herbal tinctures, essential oils, carrier oils, organic flower remedies made following Dr. Bach’s method, herbal cosmetics, Aloe Vera products, herbal balms, Stevia products (for external use), herbal blends, and several food supplements.
