Our Lion's Mane Organic Powder contains 100% organically grown Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) fruiting body extract in a 1:1 ratio. This striking mushroom, also known as the "lion's mane" or "puffball," is cultivated under strictly controlled organic conditions on an EU-certified farm.Lion's Mane is an edible mushroom that grows naturally on stumps and living or dead deciduous trees, particularly beeches, oaks, and maples, in North America, Europe, and Asia. The mushroom has a very characteristic appearance with long, white, cascading spines that resemble a lion's mane or waterfall, hence the name. In Chinese, Lion's Mane is called “hóu tóu gu”, which means “monkey head mushroom”.
In traditional Chinese medicine, Lion's Mane has been used and highly valued for centuries. The mushroom was traditionally consumed only by imperial families and was considered a delicacy. Today, Lion's Mane is available as a dietary supplement in the form of extracts and powders, in which the active components are present in concentrated form.
Our Lion's Mane powder is a fruiting body extract, which means that only the flesh (fruiting body) of the mushroom is used, not the mycelium on the grain. This guarantees a higher concentration of active substances such as beta-glucans and polysaccharides. The 1:1 extract ratio means that 1 kg of finished product is made from 1 kg of fresh Lion's Mane fruiting bodies, without the addition of fillers.

Usage of Kala Health Lion's Mane Poeder Biologisch:
Adults 1-2 grams (approximately 1 level teaspoon) per day, unless otherwise advised by a healthcare professional.Mix the powder with warm water, tea, smoothies, juices, or other drinks. Stir well until the powder is dissolved.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
