Miconazole nitrate belongs to the group of antimycotics. These drugs kill fungi.

Composition of Teva Miconazolnitraat 20 Hydrofiele Creme:

Each gram of hydrophilic cream contains:
Miconazole nitrate 20 mg

Ingredients of Teva Miconazolnitraat 20 Hydrofiele Creme:

Miconazole nitrate, ethylene glycol palmitostearate and polyoxyethylene glycol palmitostearate, oleoyl macrogolglycerides, paraffin, benzoic acid (E210: 2 mg/g), water

Use of Teva Miconazolnitraat 20 Hydrofiele Creme:

Skin infections.
Apply a little cream once or twice a day to the affected area of skin and spread thinly. When treating infections of the feet, it is recommended to sprinkle a little Miconazole nitrate 20 PCH, sprinkle powder on the lesion daily at the same time and as a post-treatment, especially between the toes, and possibly also in the stockings and shoes. Treatment should be continued uninterrupted until the skin lesion has completely disappeared (usually after two to five weeks).

Nail infections
Cut the infected nails as short as possible. Once or twice a day, smear a little cream on the
infected nail and cover the nail with a non-perforated adhesive plaster. Continue treatment, even after the infected nail has become detached (usually after two to three weeks), until regrowth of a healthy nail and complete healing have occurred (usually after about 32 weeks).
